Avoid spamming, off-topic tangents, or promotional content not related to the island.

4. Protect Privacy
Do not share anyone’s private information without their explicit consent.
Respect others’ boundaries and refrain from posting photos or personal details without permission.

5. No Hate or Discrimination
Posts promoting racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any other form of discrimination will be removed.
Hate speech of any kind will result in immediate removal from the forum.

6. Support Local and Civil Dialogue
Encourage conversations that support the island’s values of stewardship, sustainability, and cooperation.
Healthy debate is welcome; divisiveness for its own sake is not.

7. Follow Legal and Safety Guidelines
Do not post anything that violates local, state, or federal laws.
No threats, harassment, or incitement to violence.
Report suspicious or dangerous behavior to moderators or relevant authorities.

8. Real Name Policy
All members are required to use their real full names (first and last) when participating in the forum.
This is a community forum for real neighbors, and transparency builds trust.
Anonymous or pseudonymous accounts are not permitted and will be removed.

9. Respect Moderators
Forum moderators are here to maintain a safe and constructive space.
If you have concerns about moderation decisions, express them respectfully and privately.
